The main objective of this work is to emphasize the importance of storytelling in early childhood education, in order to contribute to the social, educational, cognitive and learning aspects of the child. In order to carry out the research, some readings and analysis of texts were performed, characterizing a bibliographic study of a descriptive nature, being also based on the work done in the previous disciplines. We understand that in the use of storytelling in the classroom, all education actors share emotions, whether the student will be encouraged to imagine and create, as well as the teacher who will have a more pleasant and productive class. Another point in which they share such emotions is in communicative development, due to the stimulus of their orality, which leads the child to dialogue with their hearing colleagues and teachers.
