Abstract

This work was developed with the intention to facilitate the learning of students to identify the chemical elements in the periodic table, playing with the playful game four pictures, this game is to slide shows with four images that refer characteristics of each element aiding a quick identification, the slides are displayed at random lasting 30 to 60 seconds depending on the complexe-te of each response, after the end of that time the teams received the first clue that corresponds purposes, such as its use in everyday life and industries. If not answered the teams received clues indicating the family and period of the element in the periodic table. The activity was applied to students of one year of high school, in the form of a competition with contest between teams of students with the ultimate aim of an award for the winning team after the dispute has been found that the playful game reached the desired goal as it was found that participants correctly answered most of the puzzles related images to the elements. It is especially known in the educational environment that students have difficulty learning in the disciplines of exact sciences and nature and it is up to the teachers of these areas seek strategies to assist in the process of teaching and learning, especially with the use of technology as today's that the children and adolescents are more interested in and thus make the classroom environment a pleasant place to be, leaving the sameness of traditional classes that have become monotonous and unattractive.
