Abstract

The work entitled "An analysis of the dropout and permanence of the EJA student at the Municipal School of Elementary Education "Dom Clemente Geiger" in Altamira -Pará, 2011-2021" is a computation of the concerns that arise in my life as a student, educator and manager, working for more than two decades in basic education where a good part was in this type of teaching. The general objective of this research is: “to scrutinize the possible causes of dropout and permanence of EJA students enrolled in the municipal school system in Altamira/Pará, at the Dom Clemente Geiger Municipal Elementary School, based on study the years 2011 to 2021”. We understand that this is an investigation that is based on a qualitative approach, since it is not simply concerned with the causes or consequences of a phenomenon, but with descriptions of its characteristics.
