SPECIAL EDUCATION IN THE VIEW OF FREIRIA: A REFLECTION ON SERVICE TO SPECIALIZED EDUCATION (AEE)

The article is developed based on the Axis on Brazilian Education with Freirean Pedagogies, with the objective of discussing Special Education from the Specialized Educational Service (AEE), in the perspective of the emancipation and autonomy of the student. Methodologically, a bibliographic and exploratory research was developed, with a qualitative method. It can be seen from the reading and analysis of Paulo Freire's work, that he is par excellence an educator who developed an Inclusive Pedagogy. Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) is a necessity so that people who are historically already excluded are not excluded, allowing the oppressed to be agents of transformation of their reality. It is concluded that, based on the principle of Paulo Freire's understanding that in a capitalist and classist society the practices that arise from it, even if in an inclusive perspective, are not effective, an oppressive system does not contribute to the oppressed.
