Literature has several typifications and approaches, which are manifested in literary works. Children's literature plays a strategic role in the teaching of Literature in elementary school, with literary works that have a language and approach to themes consistent with the learning demands of a generation of students, who are already inserted in cyberculture. The objective of this study is to discuss the challenges in developing teaching strategies to work with works of children's literature in elementary school, considering the context of cyberculture. This study is characterized as a bibliographic research. The relevance of this study lies in the importance of developing the teaching of Literature in elementary school, through teaching strategies and literary works that meet the learning demands of students. Literature teaching strategies can work with children's literary works through dialogue between the reader and the text, using different forms of interactions made available by print and cyberculture.
