In order to analyze the role of Social Service in the issue of violence against women. Violence against women has been identified by the UN as a violation of Human Rights and as a Public Health problem, that is, as one of the main causes of women's diseases (hypertension, anguish, depression, psychological suffering, and others). Likewise, violence against women is considered one of the main obstacles to the development of countries around the world. Therefore, the dialogue of the Social Service with this issue is necessary. Since gender violence is a social phenomenon, it must be tackled through a set of political strategies and direct social intervention.
