This work objective was to verify, through bibliographical research, the importance of didadic games and games between children in Early Childhood Education. This is bibliographic research, since a theoretical survey was carried out on the subject. At first we will talk about Pedagogical Practices in Early Childhood Education, then about Playfulness in Early Childhood Education and finally the Development of the Child Through Children’s Games. It was concluded that recreational activities help in learning, and are extremely important for the cognitive, physical and sociocultural development of children.
