Abstract

 In developing countries, malnutrition continues to be a serious public health problem, which can affect many people and of different ages, and it is more worrying when it affects children, who can present growth retardation, reduced immunity and even intellectual commitment. When there is a deficiency of micronutrients or macronutrients in the body, it has significant impacts on the weakness of the immune system. Therefore, the aim of this review is to evaluate the effects of malnutrition on the immune system and propose some solutions to combat malnutrition in order to minimize its effects on the immune system.
