REVIEW: THE SPEAKER OF MASTER RAIMUNDO IRINEU SERRA: “DIALOGUES, MEMORIES AND VERBAL ARTS”

Abstract

It is a review based on the reading of the work: O orador do Mestre Raimundo Irineu Serra: “diálogos, memórias e artes verbais”, produced by Fernanda Cougo Mendonça, which gives visibility to the narratives of 'Mestre' Luiz Mendes, a “Santo Daime” religious, in Acre. It presents the poetics of relationships, as well as life experiences, in a sociocultural perspective. It aims to contribute to the dissemination of a work that reduces distances  within Brazil. Diversity and plurality, formatted in everyday readings. Methodologically, the author brought to light the perceptions of religious experience, which, although publicized, is still silenced in subjectivities and in the local and regional sociocultural importance.
