ATUAÇÃO DO FARMACÊUTICO NOS IMPACTOS MEDICAMENTOSOS DO TRATAMENTO DA ASMA

Abstract

Asthma is a chronic disease which has several symptoms such as bronchial chest pain, shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, chest pain and oppression. Inhaled corticosteroids and bronchodilators are commonly used in its treatment. As all drugs have their effects on disease, they also have some unwanted effect. In this case, the pharmacist, as a public health agent closest to the population, has a fundamental role in patient education and in the development of educational strategies to improve adherence to therapy and optimize the effectiveness of treatment.
