Abstract

School plays a very important role in the lives of children in early childhood, so it is important to work on affectivity in Early Childhood Education. This stage – the age range from zero to six years old – is known as a very important stage for child development because it is full of learning. This is also a period of adaptation of the child to the physical and social environment, making the affective bonds built at this stage essential for evolution. In addition to exercising affectivity in family upbringing, it is important that this also happens at school. Research indicates that children educated with affection are safer and more autonomous. This upbringing in the early years of life can reflect how they will behave and relate to other people as adults.
