Abstract

We know that play is one of the most efficient ways of learning in early childhood education, as it is already part of children's daily lives, it is also a need for individuals. This work addresses and at the same time defends playfulness in education, especially at this level of education. It aims to understand the importance of playfulness in the learning processes of young children. For this, a qualitative research was carried out, using theoretical studies, among them Ariès, Vygotsky Kishimoto, Huizinga, Almeida, Fantacholli and others. Among the many results of this research, it became clear that playfulness should be part of the work, methods and resources of teachers. It is necessary to understand the influence of playfulness in early childhood education, to understand how a child learns through play and games, and how this can favor their development. The ludic can be an important resource in learning, also influencing the affective, cognitive and social side of the child.
