Abstract

Objective: This article aims to accomplish analyze mental health in the work of frontline professionals in the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: This is a qualitative approach research that sought to investigate the psychic effects of the pandemic on the lives of health workers, highlighted in reports and articles. Results: The psychic suffering of health professionals is present all over the world in the fight against COVID-19. It is considered is Brazil the highest incidence of suffering in females and in nursing professionals. Conclusion: Anxiety, depression, stress and burnout syndrome are the main psychic effects present in frontline professionals.
