In order to show the industrial instrumentation and the control of the processes in the industry, the work presents the theme approaching its main concepts, through research carried out on government websites, books and articles already published, it is possible to obtain the necessary knowledge for the elaboration of this work. , in the course of the work the subject is approached showing what industrial instrumentation is, its components, example of instrumentation mesh, its classification by signs and symbology. The process control in the industry has undergone changes over the years due to the evolution of technology, with this the pneumatic signal has been largely replaced by the electronic signal, presenting the benefits of instrumentation and control in the industry. The transmission of the signals obtained by the instrumentation takes into account the volume and speed of the data, with this the transmission networks of the industry are divided according to the signals. The process control in the industry has several softwares designed to help the control process, there are several control systems in the industry, among them we have the Distributed Digital Control System (SDCD).
