Abstract

The Internship is a field of knowledge that interconnects and makes the field of formation and the social field interact, constituting for the intern an opportune moment for the production of knowledge. It is beyond what most people think of it, that is, limiting itself to the link between theory and practice because it can be a research activity. However, there has been a certain devaluation of the Internship as a field of knowledge and production of knowledge, reducing the workload and/or funds for the projects applied to the internship. In the field of education, the internship is imbued with unique importance, because it serves as a means of connection between the university classroom and the secondary school classroom, in other words, between the university and high school. At school, one learns in different ways and multiple pieces of knowledge, Structured and unstructured competencies and skills are acquired tensionally and intentionally. Internship in a school is to be subject to these and other surrounding variables in and out of the school environment. In this work, the importance of the internship in the training of education professionals is approached, in doing so, it crosses the relationship between the university and high school as two institutions involved in the training of professionals working in education.

Mestrando em Letras pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras (PPGL) da Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (UERN), Campus Avançado de Pau dos Ferros (CAPF). Especialista em Psicopedagogia Clínica e Institucional pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação das Faculdades Integradas de Patos (FIP), especializando em Gestão do Trabalho Pedagógico (Supervisão, Orientação, Inspeção e Administração), pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação EAD da Faculdade Dom Alberto. Graduado em Letras pela Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB) e em Pedagogia pelo Instituto Superior em Educação São Judas Tadeu (INSESJTD).
