Taking as a starting point the work of Nick Couldry and Ulisses Mejias (2019), The costs of connection: how data is colonizing human life and appropriating it for capitalism, the main purpose of this work is to present the culture of gamification that, despite being a phenomenon attributed to the present time, its premise is based on historical facts and that result in the post-modern construction of the idea of success and merit. And, from this point onwards, follow an agenda that will evaluate the binary and opposing thinking of contemporary human beings, colonization through data exploration, paths that lead to the encounter with a humanity that transforms itself into a voluntarily amorphous mass and unconsciously subject to exploitation, presenting an incipient proposal for a paradigm shift towards the culture of fraternity.
