This work aims to demonstrate through a systematic review the relationship of physical activity in the prevention of osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a chronic disease and affects men and women. At age 50, its incidence is higher in females due to menopause, but from age 80 on, the incidence is equal in both sexes. Physical activity has been a cheap and efficient way to prevent physical activity. Although the works are contradictory regarding their performance, they show a protective factor in comparison with the sedentary population. The main academic and scientific databases were searched, analyzing specific criteria. A total of 117 articles were found, 18 of which complied with the chosen criteria. It was discussed that physical activity improves quality of life, directly influencing the prevention of chronic diseases, including osteoporosis. However, it is evident that physical exercises are individualized and specific, and differ for each person in their intensity, speed and weight.
