Bruxism has become an extremely relevant topic due to a possible suggestion of an increase in the number of reported cases, developed during the covid-19 pandemic. Stress, anxiety and emotional events are seen as major influencers in this framework as it is related to psychological or emotional factors. Thus, it is opportune in this study to establish a relationship between the various factors of the Covid-19 epidemic, such as social isolation, fear of exposure to the virus, fear of job loss, loss of close people and the very manifestation of the disease in the direct relationship with increased anxiety, emotional events and bruxism. That's why this theme is a very broad topic, of great social relevance and still unknown by many people. Aiming to expand the knowledge of academics, dentistry professionals and the general population regarding the etiology, identification and possible causes through a survey of references on the subject, this brief bibliographical review, which used the following databases: PUBmed, Scielo, Academic Google, Virtual Library USF; Its purpose is to relate bruxism and the covid-19 pandemic, which due to stress and anxiety, it was possible to observe an intensification of cases.
