THE IMPORTANCE OF CORRECT DISPOSAL OF ELECTRONIC WASTE: AN APPROACH ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF STUDENTS IN THE TECHNICAL COURSE IN THE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The present work was motivated for the questions involving the correct discard to electronic trash, with the constant advanced of technologies around the world and biggest variety of versions and gadgets arising on mall, take the consumer the process constant to replacement of appliances without necessity, and then, generate the big accumulation of products discard or replacement, called e-waste. This waste, when don’t discard correctly, can cause any problems for the human health and environmental impact, so arise questions in relation to manner and knowledge that the young and adolescent get along with a consumption and discard this waste. This work, we will show the knowledge of 3^rd students’ environmental technician about the discard correct to electronic trash, showing your importance for the environmental. For the present study, we utilized structured questionnaires to collect data via forms with 48 students of a public school in Curitiba. As results, can show that the majority of students present a good knowledge about prejudice these materials can cause in the environment if is not discard to correct form, although this awake the necessity to collect these information about these electronic waste, being aware of its proper referral, help to the students’ formation and ecologically responsible citizens.
