The amazonian federal jurisdiction is currently concentrated in the north of the state of Amazonas, a circumstance that entails the need to travel for more than 600km of the resident population of the cities of Humaitá/AM, Lábrea/AM and Manicoré/AM to have access to the jurisdictional provision of the Judiciary Section of Amazonas. Faced with this impasse, the objective was to study the possibility that, through the instruments of cooperation contained in the Code of Civil Procedure, citizens residing in these locations can carry out in-person acts of instruction in the nearest courts, without depending, on the other hand, on the issuance of lengthy letters precatory, which would have the potential to minimize the legal exclusion of this population from federal jurisdiction. The method employed is the hypothetical-deductive, with a qualitative approach and documental bibliographic collection procedure. As a result, it was found that the conclusion of a concerted act between the amazonian federal court and state courts would be able to improve the jurisdictional provision offered, concluding, therefore, that judicial cooperation can work as a means of promoting access to justice to the south amazonian population.
