The construction of the framework of knowledge that forges the medical professional goes through a series of domains based on knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for our daily lives. Within this perspective, communication skills are a preponderant factor in the current dynamics of professional training, in order to be a resolutive foundation in multiple situations in reality. For this, as well as other mechanisms, it needs to have a learning base that contributes and involves important and structuring concepts, permissive of a later medical performance that is more human, respectful, and substantially empathic to the patient. Thus, the communicative action, when trained, is capable of providing more integration and trust in the doctor-patient relationship to attend a legitimately attentive and increasingly demanding contemporaneity from the participative point of view of the decision making process that no longer extols the disease and starts to value health and the centralization of the experience of the human being in being ill. Therefore, given communicative ability is an instrument of improvement and contribution to the healing process for the patient, while helping to constitute the humanized medical-professional ideology.
