Abstract

This article analyzes the convergence between pedagogical personalism, the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) approach, and the enhancement of cultural heritage as a socio-educational device. Grounded in a holistic and intersubjective vision of the educational act — drawing on authors such as Sadio-Ramos, Buber, Levinas, Arendt, Comenius, among others —, the study demonstrates how STEAM acts as a vocabulary and conceptual update of the ideal of comprehensive education. It examines the trajectory of the SeCApS Project (2015–2026) and presents a methodological proposal applied to the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha (Coimbra), structured in the form of intergenerational "Educational and Cultural Walkthroughs."
