Abstract

This article aimed to analyze the financial education methods and approaches presented by leading authors, identifying their foundations, strategies, convergences, limitations, and contributions to personal financial organization. A bibliographic study was conducted using a qualitative, descriptive, and analytical approach, based on the works of Dave Ramsey, Ramit Sethi, Gustavo Cerbasi, T. Harv Eker, and George S. Clason. The content was organized into categories related to financial diagnosis, planning, budgeting, expense control, indebtedness, habits, reserve building, investments, and wealth creation. The results demonstrated that the authors combine technical knowledge, discipline, self-awareness, behavioral change, and goal setting, offering complementary contributions to personal resource management. However, some proposals were developed for the North American context, whereas others are predominantly reflective and do not establish formal implementation stages. It was concluded that there is no single, specific, and fully structured method capable of addressing all dimensions of personal financial organization. Therefore, the contributions analyzed need to be critically integrated into an approach adaptable to different economic, family, and social circumstances.
