This article aimed to identify and investigate the stylistic devices constructed by the poet Dheyne de Souza, through language as a way of relating to the world around her. The study takes as its corpus the book Lâminas—particularly the poems: “tem um lado do lago que esconde a língua”, “um bêbado deitado no frio” and “uma vírgula no corpo” - it highlighted how her experimental and abrupt constructions create a productive dialogue with the world and language, either by problematizing it or by pointing out its limitations and innovations. Methodologically, the study is bibliographic and critic, with an emphasis on interpreting the selected corpus, supported by theoretical references that discuss poetry, resistance, and the limitations of language, such as Alfredo Bosi (2000) and João Alexandre Barbosa (1974). By exploring convergences and divergences, the article seeks to illuminate central aspects of Lâminas, promoting reflection on its contribution to the consolidation of goian poetry.
