This article analyzes how the National Public Security and Social Defense Policy (Decree No. 10.822 of 09/29/2021), the State Public Security Policy (Decree No. 45.319 of 03/18/2022), and the Military Police of Amazonas Strategic Plan for 2023-2032 can contribute to the professional development of female officers in the institution, as an institutional support policy. The research aims to examine how this innovation in human resource management for female officers can be reflected in organizational culture, professional development, and increased opportunities for women leaders to occupy strategic positions. The specific aims of the research are: examining the theoretical foundation of women military leaders, people management, and military organizational culture; presenting how the normative framework of Public Security can support equity policies; and discussing the promotion of human rights within the institution from the perspective of women's professional development. This research adopts a qualitative, exploratory approach, employing bibliographic and documentary procedures. The literature review concluded that valuing female leaders within the Amazonas Military Police as a key aspect of Human Resources constitutes an inclusive institutional practice that positively impacts the institutional climate.
