THE IMPORTANCE OF TECHNOLOGICAL TOOLS FOR SCHOOL MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY

Abstract

School management has been significantly impacted by technological advancements, which are transforming the administrative, pedagogical, and communication processes of educational institutions. This study aimed to analyze the importance of technological tools for the efficiency of school management through an integrative literature review. The research was conducted using the SciELO and Google Scholar databases, employing keywords related to school management and educational technologies. Fifty-two studies were identified; of these, 10 met the inclusion criteria and comprised the final sample. The results demonstrated that technological tools contribute to the optimization of administrative processes, strengthen communication among administrators, teachers, students, and families, and support data-driven decision-making. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, insufficient financial resources, and the need for professional training continue to hinder their implementation. It is concluded that technologies represent important allies in the modernization and efficiency of school management.
