This Course Completion Work consists of a documentary study with a quantitative approach investigating performance in Mathematics within the Educational Evaluation System of Piauí (SAEPI) in schools located in the city of Floriano, Piauí, from 2021 to 2025. The general objective of the research is to analyze the evolution of participation rates and proficiency levels achieved by students in external evaluations during the selected period. The theoretical framework is based on established concepts of educational evaluation and current Brazilian legislation. The methodology employed secondary statistical data collection and analysis from SAEPI Network Magazines and the CAEd Digital platform. The discussed results indicate trends in student engagement and the development of mathematical competencies, identifying the impact of large-scale assessments on local teaching quality. It is concluded that, despite contemporary educational challenges, proficiency and participation indicators in Floriano demonstrate SAEPI's strategic importance as a management tool for monitoring and enhancing the teaching-learning process in the region.
