Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, particularly preeclampsia and eclampsia, are among the leading causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, representing a major public health concern. In this context, nursing care during prenatal follow-up plays a crucial role in preventing complications, enabling early identification of risk factors, and promoting maternal and fetal health. Objective: To analyze the nursing care provided during prenatal follow-up of women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, identifying healthcare interventions focused on health education and evaluating how clinical monitoring and humanized care influence prenatal adherence and pregnancy outcomes. Methods: This study is an integrative literature review with a descriptive design and qualitative approach. The search was conducted in the Virtual Health Library (BVS), including the LILACS, MEDLINE, and BDENF databases. Articles published between 2020 and 2025, available in full text and directly related to nursing interventions in hypertensive disorders during pregnancy, were included. After applying the eligibility criteria, 22 studies were selected for analysis. Results: The findings demonstrated that nurses play a strategic role in clinical surveillance, blood pressure monitoring, early identification of warning signs, health education, obstetric risk screening, and the provision of humanized care. Evidence-based nursing practice was found to contribute to reducing maternal and fetal complications, improving adherence to prenatal care, and enhancing obstetric outcomes. Conclusion: Nursing care is essential to ensuring maternal and neonatal safety. Continuous professional training and the strengthening of comprehensive care practices are fundamental to improving the quality of care provided to pregnant women with hypertensive disorders.
