This is a study carried out through observations of two Futsal matches. The first was between Magnus and Umuarama, freely shown on the National Football League's youtube on 1st May at 11am in 2024. And the second between Joinville and Campo Mourão on 30 April at 8pm in 2024. The aim of this research is to identify and characterise the relationship between effort and pause in Futsal by means of chronometric analysis, i.e. to metricate the athlete's rest and action time in the game in order to support and improve physical training methods in preparation for a match. The theoretical basis of this study is 'Exercise Physiology: Energy, Nutrition and Human Performance' by William Mcardile, Victor Katch and Frank Katch (1981); "Quantitative analysis of the temporal dimension during a futsal competition" by Barbero among others that help to resize the research.
