Menopause corresponds to a female biological process that usually occurs around the age of 50, characterized by the absence of menstruation for 12 consecutive months. This condition is related to the gradual decrease in ovarian activity, with a consequent reduction in estrogen production. This hormonal decrease is associated with the appearance of clinical manifestations, such as hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disturbances and fatigue, in addition to changes in body weight and skin, and is also related to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and possible cognitive decline. General objective: To analyze the importance of supplementation in menopause, as well as the pharmaceutical role in guiding and promoting women's health, highlighting its effects on quality of life. Methodology: This is a literature review, based on the analysis of scientific articles on menopause, physiological changes, supplementation and pharmaceutical care. Conclusion: Adequate supplementation, associated with pharmaceutical action, can contribute to the reduction of clinical manifestations and to the promotion of women's health.
