Post-COVID-19 pulmonary fibrosis is one of the most significant complications resulting from SARS-CoV-2 infection, characterized by structural changes in the lungs that impair respiratory function and negatively affect patients' quality of life. In this context, the present study aimed to analyze pharmaceutical care in the management of post-COVID-19 pulmonary fibrosis, highlighting its relevance to the rational use of medications, pharmacotherapeutic follow-up, and improvement of clinical outcomes. A descriptive bibliographic review was conducted, based on scientific articles, theses, and monographs published between 2023 and 2026, all available in academic databases and repositories. The results indicated that the main respiratory sequelae include dyspnea, fatigue, exercise intolerance, and persistent functional impairments, requiring continuous monitoring and a multidisciplinary approach. It is noteworthy that pharmacists play a crucial role in identifying drug interactions, monitoring adverse reactions, providing guidance on proper medication use, and promoting treatment adherence. Furthermore, pharmaceutical practice contributes to reducing medication errors, preventing self-medication, and optimizing pharmacotherapy. It is concluded that pharmaceutical care is essential in the management of post-COVID-19 pulmonary fibrosis, promoting greater safety, therapeutic effectiveness, and improved quality of life for patients, as well as contributing to the sustainability of healthcare systems.
