The research is characterized as applied, descriptive in nature, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, developed through a case study. Data collection involved bibliographic research, direct observation, and document analysis based on the company's internal records, including information on product expiration dates, merchandise inflows and outflows, and financial losses related to inventory. The theoretical framework addressed concepts related to inventory management, control tools, the financial impact of losses, the perishability of cosmetic products, and the use of technologies applied to merchandise control. The results showed that the absence of systematized control processes contributes to financial losses related to product expiration, excess stagnant merchandise, and failures in monitoring inventory turnover. It is concluded that the use of tools such as ABC analysis, FIFO method, expiration date control, and periodic monitoring can significantly contribute to reducing waste, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening the company's financial sustainability.
