This article aimed to analyze the role of nursing professionals in induced labor, identifying the main interventions, fetal monitoring methods, and approaches adopted to ensure maternal comfort. The research consists of an integrative literature review based on previously published scientific studies in the following databases: MEDLINE, PubMed, SciELO, and LILACS. Through defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, a sample of scientific evidence regarding the role of nursing professionals in induced labor and maternal comfort was constructed, highlighting the main interventions and fetal monitoring methods. Through the applied search mechanisms, a sample of 11 studies was identified in the databases. The study demonstrated the relevance of emotional support provided by nursing professionals, the importance of clear and humanized communication, the positive impact of continuous monitoring and psychological interventions, as well as the importance of obstetric nursing in maternal-fetal safety and in the satisfaction of women undergoing labor induction. Furthermore, the studies showed that inadequate practices, lack of information, and absence of protocols may negatively affect the childbirth experience and clinical outcomes.
