This article aimed to analyze the effectiveness of interventions based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and third-wave therapies applied to the rehabilitation of male perpetrators of gender-based violence, considering the heterogeneity of risk profiles. Violence against women, especially in its lethal expression, constitutes a complex phenomenon influenced by sociocultural, cognitive, and emotional factors, highlighting the limitations of exclusively punitive responses. The methodology consisted of an integrative literature review, with a qualitative and exploratory approach, conducted in the SciELO, PubMed, BVS, and APA PsycNet databases, resulting in the selection of 10 scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025. The results demonstrated that perpetrators present different levels of risk, personality traits, traumatic experiences, and maladaptive cognitive schemas, requiring individualized clinical interventions. Integrated approaches, such as Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy, showed better outcomes in reducing recidivism and improving emotional regulation. It is concluded that the personalization of psychological interventions is essential for the prevention of femicide.
