This article sought to describe the clinical evolution of a venous ulcer submitted to compressive therapy associated with photobiomodulation. It is a descriptive, qualitative, and longitudinal case study, with systematic monitoring of a patient, including standardized local care, application of compressive therapy with Unna boot, use of photobiomodulation, and home orientations. A progressive reduction in the dimensions of the lesion, improvement of granulation tissue, advancement of epithelialization, and a decrease in exudate and inflammatory signs were observed, in addition to the recovery of the perilesional skin, culminating in a closure phase in a reduced period. It is concluded that the association between compressive therapy and photobiomodulation proved to be effective in the venous ulcer healing process, promoting significant clinical improvement and establishing itself as a relevant therapeutic strategy in care practice.
