This article sought to understand the relationship between the growing application of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) in the legal field in concrete cases. The general objective of this study is to investigate the role of Artificial Intelligence in judicial activity, analyzing its impact on the dehumanization of judicial decisions and on compliance with due process of law. To this end, this is a qualitative research using the bibliographic technique, with data collection from books, articles, legislation, resolutions, and theses. The method applied is the hypothetical-deductive, in order to allow the formulation of hypotheses regarding the effects of A.I. and the deduction of its ethical, legal, and social implications. The analysis is guided by a post-positivist theoretical approach, which recognizes social plurality and complexity, in contrast to the mechanical application of rules. Thus, the research discusses the balance between technological innovation and the protection of fundamental rights, highlighting the importance of the primacy of human judgment. As a result, the study demonstrated that although Artificial Intelligence contributes to reducing bureaucracy and streamlining procedural steps, its adoption in the Judiciary requires caution, as automated decisions lacking legal hermeneutics may disregard human aspects and compromise fundamental guarantees, such as privacy, impartiality, and due process of law.
