This article aims to analyze contemporary methods for preventing skin aging, highlighting the role of the aesthetic nurse in promoting safe, humanized, and scientifically based practices. It is a narrative literature review, based on scientific articles available in databases such as SciELO, published between 2018 and 2025. The results indicate that aesthetic nursing, by combining science, technique, and sensitivity, plays a relevant role in promoting skin health and improving the self-esteem and quality of life of patients. The aesthetic nurse, through the use of cosmeceuticals, biostimulation techniques, and guidance on healthy habits, acts preventively against skin aging, contributing to healthier and more confident aging.
