This article aimed to analyze the epidemiological profile and temporal trends in hospitalizations for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) among individuals under 30 years of age in Brazil between 2020 and 2025. Secondary data from the Hospital Information System of the Unified Health System, available on the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System's platform, were used. Filters corresponding to the main diagnosis, age group, sex, geographic region, and period of interest were applied. The collected data were presented in graphs and tables for better analysis. The rate of hospitalizations for AMI increased significantly during the analyzed period, with a 76.6% growth in the number of cases. The 20-29 age group accounted for approximately 66.5% of the events. Early myocardial infarction (MI) represents a public health problem in Brazil, associated with the increasing prevalence of modifiable risk factors such as sedentary lifestyle, smoking, obesity, and substance use, which reinforces the need for public policies aimed at preventing these events in the young population.
