Objectives: This study analyzes the challenges and barriers that interfere with access to vaccination in the municipality of Camaçari, Bahia, from the perspective of users, health professionals, and managers of the Unified Health System (SUS). Methodology: The research, of a qualitative and descriptive nature, involved semi-structured interviews with 16 participants. Results: The results identified obstacles such as shortages of immunobiologicals, transportation difficulties, misinformation, unsatisfactory reception, and deficiencies in the organization of services. They indicate the need for more effective planning, professional qualification, and strengthening of public policies to guarantee equitable access to vaccination.
Conclusion: Overcoming barriers to access to vaccination in Camaçari requires integrated and intersectoral actions involving investment in infrastructure, continuing education for professionals, qualified listening to users, and strengthening of primary care. With well-structured public policies sensitive to territorial specificities, it will be possible to expand vaccination coverage and guarantee the universal right to immunization.
