This study addressed the theme of innovative pedagogical practices and the integration of digital technologies into the school curriculum, considering the difficulties faced by teachers in this process. It was based on the understanding that the growing presence of technologies in contemporary society has transformed communication, access to information, and knowledge production, requiring changes in the educational field as well. In this context, the research sought to answer the following problem: what are the main difficulties faced by teachers in integrating digital technologies into the school curriculum, and how can innovative pedagogical practices based on active methodologies contribute to overcoming these challenges in the teaching and learning process? The general objective was to analyze the difficulties faced by teachers in integrating digital technologies into the curriculum and to discuss the contributions of active methodologies to the development of innovative pedagogical practices. The study adopted bibliographic research as its methodological procedure, based on the analysis of scientific publications addressing digital technologies, pedagogical practices, and educational innovation. The development discussed the possibilities of using digital technologies in education, the challenges teachers face in integrating these resources into pedagogical practices, and the contributions of active methodologies to promote more participatory and dynamic educational practices. In the final considerations, it was observed that the integration of technologies into the curriculum depends on teacher training, the reorganization of pedagogical practices, and the adoption of methodologies that encourage student protagonism, highlighting the need for further studies on the subject.
