MULTIMEDIA RESOURCES APPLIED TO EDUCATION

Abstract

In contemporary life, technology has become essential, mainly affecting social relations through communications with the widespread use of smartphones, social networks and messaging applications, influencing personal aspects, medicine, entertainment, services, production, sales and the area of education. Technology integrated with the Internet has universalized access to content, which cannot always be called true knowledge, thus greatly affecting the area of teaching and learning, since when it comes to analyzing content, learning is necessary for its deeper understanding, which is the mission of educational institutions. These resources have enabled greater efficiency in their methodologies, but when it comes to engagement, it was performed by the introduction of multimedia resources, which are currently facilitated by available technological applications. In this article, through exploratory bibliographic research of scientific articles based on the theme, the topic of how multimedia integrates into the world of education will be explored. Arguing about its origin, applicable resources and how to address the challenges in its implementation, it will be demonstrated how to make its execution viable.
