Introduction: It is essential to know about basic aspects of utilization management, continuous improvement and health marketing to apply in health organizations.
Objective: To know the new tools that can be used for the improvement and dynamism of the continuous improvement of health organizations, enabling the elaboration of strategies on how they should be applied today.Method: An interpretive study of a documentary investigation type was carried out with description, explanation and observation. Articles on Utilization Management (UM) continuous improvement of the organization and health marketing were analyzed.Results: It revealed how essential it is to know about organizational growth strategies and thus be able to apply the necessary resources to improve health services, challenging the entire work team involved to develop quality.Conclusions: There are great commitments in organizational health improvement and practical preparation can help. Usage management has duties to fulfill to ensure a more effective hospital environment and quality patient care.
