This study addresses psychological violence against women in abusive relationships, understood as a form of violence based on gender inequality that causes emotional harm, reduced self-esteem, and significant damage to the mental health of victims. It is a frequently invisible phenomenon that occurs gradually and silently, making its identification and confrontation difficult. In this context, the general objective of the research is to analyze the contributions of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in the care of women victims of psychological violence in abusive relationships, emphasizing the therapeutic strategies used in the coping process and the psychological impacts resulting from this experience. Methodologically, the study is characterized as a qualitative bibliographic research, developed through a narrative review of the scientific literature. The search for studies was carried out in the SciELO and Google Scholar databases, considering publications between 2015 and 2024 related to the topic. The results indicate that psychological violence can trigger symptoms such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and emotional dependence. It is evident that Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy offers relevant contributions to the therapeutic process, favoring the identification and modification of dysfunctional thoughts, strengthening self-esteem, and developing coping strategies, contributing to the reinterpretation of traumatic experiences and the promotion of women's autonomy.
