Abstract

This study aims to apprehend the participation of young rural women, graduates of the Agronomy course at the Federal University of Fronteira Sul (UFFS, Erechim campus), in the process of succession in family farming. To develop the analysis, we sought to contemplate in the research the entire universe of rural young women trained in the Agronomy course between the years 2010 and 2014 and who graduated until the year 2019. important changes in the scope of the previous territorialities of the young graduates, but the formation in Higher Education needs to be accompanied by other factors to enable succession processes in family farming.
