Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Brazil, and hemodynamic services play a crucial role in minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment. The researched institution is a regional reference center. To characterize the main hemodynamic procedures performed and the epidemiological profile of patients treated in the institution's hemodynamic service. A descriptive, quantitative, and retrospective study, analyzing 9,731 procedure records and the clinical profile of 47 patients treated at the researched institution. Procedure types, sociodemographic profile (age, sex), and comorbidities were analyzed. The total number of procedures analyzed was 9,731, with a distribution of 36.51% for Cardiac Catheterization (Diagnostic) and 34.88% for Therapeutic Intervention (Angioplasty/Stent/Others). Cardiac Catheterization was the most frequently performed isolated procedure. The epidemiological profile revealed a mean age of 64 years, with a predominance of the female sex (55.32%). The most prevalent comorbidities were Systemic Arterial Hypertension (46.81%) and Diabetes Mellitus (17.02%). The institution's hemodynamic service presents a high volume of procedures, with a balance between diagnostics and interventions, treating a high-cardiovascular-risk population, which reinforces its importance as a regional reference center in the management of atherosclerotic disease.
