This experience report addresses the physiotherapy follow-up of an elderly patient diagnosed with mild Alzheimer's disease. This degenerative and progressive pathology compromises memory, cognition, and functional autonomy, requiring continuous and humanized care. The objective of this report is to highlight the importance of physiotherapy follow-up in a patient with neurological lesions, specifically Alzheimer's disease. The 74-year-old patient presented a good prognosis and responded positively to the therapeutic protocol, which included aerobic exercises, cognitive rehabilitation, motor stimulation, and music therapy. Ten physiotherapy sessions were conducted over a two-month period, with noticeable improvements in balance, social interaction, and overall well-being. The relevance of family involvement and an interdisciplinary approach in the rehabilitation process was also observed. Despite the early interruption of treatment, the results obtained demonstrate the essential role of physiotherapy in maintaining functionality and slowing the effects of the disease. It is concluded that humanized physiotherapy care contributes significantly to the comfort, safety, and dignity of elderly people with Alzheimer's disease.
