This research aims to develop a methodological strategy that allows teachers to apply examples of Environmental Education based on the contents of the Chemistry program of the I secondary cycle. The methodological strategy was based on two actions: Analysis of the INIDE program for the I Cycle for the selection of content that may be related to Environmental Education by class, theme and quarter; Presentation of the selected contents through tables, thus establishing the application of the relationship in the environmental approach with examples. In this action the main items considered were: the subject; type of related pollution; substances (pollutants); forms of pollution; Consequences. The research data were presented in the form of tables, graphs and the percentages were calculated assuming a confidence interval of 0.95. Finally, the level of satisfaction of teachers coming from the different schools of the I cycle of the city of Uíge was evaluated. The results indicate the following: Subthemes of the chemistry program applicable to environmental embroidery: 39.1% (18 subthemes); not applicable: 39.1% (18 subthemes); not applicable: 60.9% (28 subthemes); (2): applicable content: 7ª class: 50% (9); 8ª class: 22.2% (4); 9ª class: 27.8% (5). It was concluded that it is possible to apply an environmental approach with the application of examples related to this in the teaching of Chemistry in the I cycle of secondary education.
