Abstract

This text aims to investigate the use of the SWOT Matrix in educational institutions, highlighting the positive, negative aspects, opportunities and risks present in a school or college. The investigation is based on a qualitative approach, through literature reviews, with the purpose of understanding the origin, purposes and obstacles of this strategic tool, which is commonly applied in the business sector. Next, the research examines the way in which the SWOT Matrix is adapted to the educational scenario and its relevance in creating strategies for the continuous alignment of school administration. Finally, we seek to consider the initiatives carried out after their implementation in educational institutions, highlighting their role in decision-making and promoting excellent education.
