PROFILE OF AGGRESSORS AND PREVENTIVE ACTIONS AGAINST FEMICIDE

Abstract

The objective of this ebook is to identify common psychological and behavioral characteristics among aggressors, analyze the sociocultural and historical factors that influence their behavior and suggest actions to identify and intervene in risky cases before they become femicides. A methodology used for bibliographic research, based on the CAPES Periodical Portal Platform, selecting articles published in the last 5 years. Research has revealed that the main characteristics of aggressors include alcohol and drug abuse, emotional instability, excessive jealousy and resistance to being contradicted, in addition to the influence of external factors such as family, school, religion and the media on the aggressor's behavior. . Finally, improving the infrastructure of shelters for victims of violence, improving judicial processes, continuous training of professionals who deal with cases of domestic violence and strengthening actions for the construction of public policies can contribute to promoting a fairer society, where gender-based violence is combatted in a structured and sustainable way.
