This article analyzes the implementation of the Environmental Circumstantiated Occurrence Report within the Environmental Policing Battalion of the Military Police of Amazonas, focusing on the operational, legal, and administrative advantages associated with this tool. It aims to understand how the environmental report structures the recording and referral of minor environmental offenses, as well as to examine its impacts on institutional efficiency and the effectiveness of environmental protection in the Amazon context. The study adopts a qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive approach, based on bibliographic and documentary research, complemented by qualitative content analysis. Results indicate that the tool tends to reduce bureaucratic obstacles, costs, and travel demands, enabling officers to remain longer in preventive activities and improving traceability of records. The study concludes that these gains depend on standardized procedures, continuous training, and integration with the justice system and environmental agencies to ensure prompt action without undermining due process or record quality.
